Fun excursion aboard Quad and Buggy along the dirt paths of the area called Benerito.
Driving Quad and Buggy (click here to watch the video) we will move on to the true Dominican reality, observing the sugar cane plantations, where it will be possible to taste the raw sugar before being refined.
With comfortable taxis we will pick you up outside your Resort and take you to the starting point of this unique and adrenaline-filled experience! Here your guide will explain the route and safety measures, you will be given personal protection devices.
After this initial phase in which you have received the necessary information, you will board your Buggies to begin the adventure through the national road, the sugar cane fields to arrive in a particular local village called Batey where the cultivating and living workers live. they cut the sugar cane: here you will see the schools with the children, the churches and finally you will learn about the cultivation of sugar cane. It will be cut in front of you and you can taste it!
Afterwards you will head, always on board the Buggies, towards a Rancho where there will be a small refreshment with non-alcoholic drinks, water and fresh fruit. Here you will find a small local market where, for those who want, you can buy typical local items.
You will get back on the adrenaline-fueled Quads to continue this wonderful adventure-filled excursion, crossing hills and plains, fruit plantations to finally arrive in the spectacular Rio Chavon: a river immersed in a splendid tropical nature, which was the scene of famous films like Rambo, Apocalypse Now and Jurassic Park. Here, for those who want, you can take a bath in the waters of the river: it is the main stage of this thrilling excursion!
The excursion will end in the village of Benerito, where taxis will wait for you to take you back to your resorts.
